"I Like It" is the second single by Liverpudlian band Gerry & the Pacemakers. Like Gerry Marsden's first number one, it was written by Mitch Murray. The song reached number one in the UK Singles Chart on 22 June 1963, where it stayed for four weeks.[1]
In 1978, The Rezillos did a punk cover version on their debut album Can't Stand The Rezillos. In 1980, Depeche Mode had it in their early live set. [2]
